What happens if my prospective responsible broker/corporation
doesn't certify my affiliation online by the time I pass my examination?
- If your responsible broker has not certified your affiliation within seven days,
DRE will mail a letter to him/her requesting immediate action.
- If you pass your examination and your broker has not certified your affiliation,
your license will be issued showing the status as "Licensed-NBA," which means
your license does not have a broker affiliation and you cannot conduct licensed
activities. You may subsequently update your records to reflect a responsible
broker using the eLicensing System or by mailing in an
RE 214
