Currently, my license status is listed as Licensed NBA. How can I add my responsible broker/corporation online?

You can add your responsible broker/corporation via eLicensing in one of two ways: During your online license renewal or whenever Add Responsible Broker is included in Your Menu Options.

To add your responsible broker/corporation during your online license renewal, simply enter your responsible broker's license number on the New responsible Broker/Corporation page, then follow the online instructions.

To add your responsible broker/corporation via Your Menu Options:

• Logon to eLicensing. The Your Menu Options page will be displayed.
• Click on Add Responsible Broker. The New Responsible Broker/Corporation page will be displayed, enabling you to input the license number of your new responsible broker.
• Enter your new responsible broker's license number, then press the Display Broker Information button.  The New Responsible Broker/Corporation page will be displayed, showing the name and mailing address of your new responsible broker.
  • If the responsible broker you entered has multiple licenses, then the names and mailing addresses of all of the applicable licenses will be displayed. To select the applicable responsible broker, click on the radio button to the left of the responsible broker's name, then click on the Select Broker button.
• If the new responsible broker/corporation information is correct, press the Save Broker Information button.  The  Employment Certification Information page will be displayed.  This page will include a statement that your responsible broker or licensed officer on behalf of your responsible corporation can certify your affiliation now or at a later date.
  • If your responsible broker is available to certify your affiliation, click the Yes button. The Responsible Broker/Corporation Certification page will be displayed, allowing your responsible broker to enter his/her eLicensing username and password and then click the Certify button to certify your affiliation.   (NOTE:  Your responsible broker must be registered in eLicensing before he/she can certify your affiliation online.)
  • If your responsible broker is not available to certify your affiliation, click the No button. The Employment Certification Information page will be displayed.  This page will include a statement that you can provide your responsible broker's email address in order to send him/her a reminder to certify your affiliation via eLicensing.  If your affiliation is not certified within 7 days, a letter will be mailed to your responsible broker requesting he/she certify your certification via eLicensing. Identification of your responsible broker cannot take effect until your affiliation has been certified.
