How can I report an eLicensing
problem?
If you experience a problem using
eLicensing, you should:
- Try again later if the problem was simply that the
system was not available.
- If the problem persists and is not a question of
system unavailability, DO NOT JEOPARDIZE your
renewal status by waiting to renew past your license
expiration date. Mail in your renewal
application and fee or drop it off at any DRE
District Office.
You can report problems with the
eLicensing System via email at the address below. Please
do not use this address to communicate concerns which
are not directly related to the eLicensing System.
Those communications should be referred to the DRE District
Office nearest you. When reporting eLicensing
problems, please provide a detailed description of the
problem, including what you were trying to do when you
encountered it, any error messages that were displayed,
and the date and time it happened. Please provide your
name and daytime phone number, in case we need to
contact you for additional information.
