FAQs - Using the eLicensing System

How can I change my mailing address online?

To change your mailing address via eLicensing:

  • Logon to eLicensing. The Your Menu Options page will be displayed.
  • Click on Change Your Mailing Address Only. The Current Mailing Address page will be displayed, listing your current mailing address.
  • Click the Yes button in response to the question, "Do you want to change your mailing address?"  The Change Licensee Mailing Address page will be displayed and editable fields will be presented to allow you to update your mailing address.

NOTE:  Business and mailing addresses are public information and are available to the public.  Please consider this, especially when identifying a mailing address.

  • Enter your new mailing address in the applicable fields, then press the Preview Change button.  The Change Licensee Mailing Address page will be displayed, including your old and new addresses.
  • If the updated mailing address is correct, then press the Submit Address Change button.  The Change Licensee Mailing Address page will be displayed.  This page will include a statement that your request for a mailing address change has been received by DRE and that your new address information will be posted to the Department's Licensing Database shortly.  It also states that a notification of the change request will be sent by mail to both your old mailing address and your new mailing address to insure that you requested the change and that the new address is valid.
  • Click on the Continue button. The Your Menu Options page will be displayed. You have successfully updated your mailing address.
