What type of connection do I need?
Besides needing a browser that
supports 128-bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology,
you also need an Internet Service Provider (ISP) that
supports it, as well. Nearly all ISPs
automatically enable SSL, as do most online services
such as America Online, CompuServe, and Prodigy.
If you use your company's internal connection to access
the Internet and you're not able to access the
Department's secure pages with an SSL-enabled browser,
your company may be blocking access via a
"firewall." You will need to speak to
your firm's Internet access systems administrator to
resolve this problem.
