I'm new to using computers.
What tips can you give me?
Computer literacy, the ability to use
computers to perform a variety of tasks, is becoming
fundamental to everyday life. A wide variety of
computer skills are useful and, in some cases required,
as an essential part of education and employment for
most individuals.
To use the eLicensing System, you'll
need to be familiar with the following:
- Using a computer
- Using a Web browser
- Filling in and navigating through Web forms
- Downloading files
- Adobe Acrobat Reader
Good sources for learning how to use
a computer, computer programs, and the Internet are:
- Classes at your local community college, adult
learning center, or public library
- Your kids, your grandkids, or even the kids next
door!
- How-to books, videos, or computer programs
- Tutorials on the Web:
