I'm having problems using the
eLicensing System. What can I do?
America Online (AOL) users who
experience problems accessing Web sites can improve
performance by using a stand-alone browser instead of
the standard AOL browser. Using this separate
browser will often resolve many of the problems
associated with accessing the Internet through AOL.
To avoid this:
- Logon to AOL as you usually do.
- Minimize the AOL browser window that
automatically pops up with your AOL connection.
- Launch the Internet Explorer browser
supplied with your AOL software by either
double-clicking on the Internet Explorer icon
on your desktop or by choosing it from your Programs
menu. (NOTE: Though the stand-alone
browser will be running in a separate window from
the AOL browser, it will access the Internet using
your AOL connection.)
- Access a specific Web site by typing in the
applicable address in the Address Bar.
