When a salesperson uses
eLicensing to make a change of responsible broker or renew his or her license, the
responsible broker must certify the salesperson's affiliation
through eLicensing.
If the broker will be using eLicensing
for the first time, the broker will need to register
with the DRE to create a user name and password.
Thereafter, clicking on the eLicensing graphic then
entering the user name and password will provide access
to eLicensing. A personalized menu of eLicensing
options will appear including the option to certify any
salesperson's affiliation that may be pending.
Simply click on that menu option and follow the
instructions until the transaction is completed.
Once the responsible broker has certified the salesperson's request and if a salesperson
email address has been provided to eLicensing, an email will be sent to the salesperson advising
that the transaction has been completed.
